Fleetwood Mac discussing Glastonbury 2015 set, says Stevie Nicks

By
Fleetwood Mac are currently discussing the possibility of playing Glastonbury next year.

The band have been firm favourites to headline the music event at Worthy Farm for a few years already, but have never managed to get their schedule lined up to do so.

"Chris [Christine McVie] is excited to come back to London. It'll be soon, probably May," singer Stevie Nicks told Uncut Magazine.

"Glastonbury? You never know. You have to weave festivals in. It's being discussed."

Fleetwood Mac have been asked on a few occasions by Michael Eavis to headline Glastonbury, but have been unable to do so for various reasons.

Christine McVie confirmed earlier this year that Fleetwood Mac will embark on a new world tour throughout 2015, as well as work on a new studio album.

Meanwhile, Stevie Nicks will release new album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault on October 6.
