“I’ve always wanted to do something with denim,” said Tina Lutz when discussing her latest collection.
“I’ve always wanted to do something with denim,” said Tina Lutz when discussing her latest collection. A fan of artist Jim Hodges — who recently showed his work with denim textiles in Los Angeles — Lutz found the perfect inspiration and went with it. She referenced a palette of blues and an array of textures in a sophisticated way by developing a metallic jacquard fabric, which she used for a sporty bomber jacket and pants.
Camel pieces offered a nod to the stitching on jeans, and included great double-faced cashmere coats, vests and open-stitched sweaters. Blue oxford shirting and slouchy cashmere pants completed the season’s luxe-casual vibe.
