The 2013 Financial Statements was approved recording a profit growth for the sixth consecutive year. The 2013 performance is marked by the achievement of all the 2011-2015 Industrial Plan objectives, despite the set-backs of the national and international financial crisis, confirming the reliability of the company restructuring since 2007.

After profound restructuring, the current Industrial plan focuses on the Group’s economic consolidation and its progressive expansion in international markets, in a scenario of increasing competition

The structure of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group originates from the reorganisation process begun in 2000. The current organisation is that of an industrial Group with a Parent company, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane SpA, which heads the Operating Companies in the various sectors of the chain and other companies servicing and supporting Group operations.
