The Association's ultimate decision making and policy setting body is the Annual General Meeting (AGM). At the AGM member Councils have votes with a value that reflects the population of the Council. The structure and operation of the Association is set out in its Constitution.  Policy is determined at the Annual General Meeting and is set out in the Policy Manual.  Both the content of the Constitution and the Policy Manual can only be altered by the AGM or another Ordinary General Meeting of members.  The day to day work of the Association is set out in the Strategic Plan which is determined by the LGA Board.
