Camouflage is a form of visual mimicry, and clever examples of mimicry will be accepted in the challenge if they are appropriate. Macro and close-ups welcome. Trimerotropis verruculata makes itself known with loud crackling sounds as it flies. A well camouflaged one like this example is hard to locate once it lands. This one blends in nicely with the lichen covered grranite.
