Other Faiths
In terms of religion, the UK is a truly eclectic society. There is often a great deal of variation within individual faiths, depending on the level of conformity of the families involved. Specific advice should be sought for individual faiths and denominations; this is a guideline only.
Where the bride and groom are of different faiths, they will usually need to decide which is to be the most dominant influence in the marriage service, and seek the permission of the person conducting their ceremony to include concessions to the other faith. Alternatively, advice on mixed faith weddings should be sought where possible.
