Natalie Massenet, MBE

Executive Chairman, Net-a-Porter and Chairman of the British Fashion Council

Most famous as the founder of luxury fashion giant Net-A-Porter, Natalie Massenet is currently executive chairman of the larger Net-A-Porter Group. This includes The Outnet, Mr Porter, Net-a-Sporter and even newsstand print magazine Porter, having gone analogue in 2014. Massenet realised early on that if she wanted to live the life she wanted, she was going to have to push herself hard. It was while working as a journalist at Tatler that she dreamed up Net-A- Porter, which went on to win Best Fashion Shop at the 2004 British Fashion Awards. She sold a majority stake in the company back in 2010 for a rumoured £50 million, and in September 2012, was appointed chair of the British Fashion Council.
