David Walliams

Author, Comedian and Actor

David Walliams shot to fame playing a whole host of hilarious characters in the smash comedy hit Little Britain along with his partner-in-crime Matt Lucas. In 2008 he secured a contract with Harper Collins to publish two children’s books, and since then this actor, comedian and presenter has enjoyed extraordinary success in the children’s literary world. Walliams can boast of being the biggest UK author to debut this century, his books having been translated into 42 languages and having sold more than 6 million copies in the UK alone. He has won the Children’s Book of the Year award at the National Book Awards twice, and several of his stories have been adapted for television. Walliams seems to have his fingers in many pies, with more film and television appearances, stints as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, and charity work.
