The daughter of horse trainer Ian Balding, broadcasting powerhouse Clare Balding is heralded as the best female presenter of sport. She has presented five Olympic Games, four Paralympics and three Winter Olympics, and has also landed the job leading Channel 4’s racing coverage. Balding has been named RTS Sports Presenter of the Year, Sports Presenter of the Year at the TRIC Awards and Racing Journalist of the Year, and was awarded the Special Achievement Award at the Women in Film and Television Awards for her work on the Olympics and Paralympics.
