Professor Jane Dacre

President, Royal College of Physicians

Professor Jane Dacre was elected president of the Royal College of Physicians in 2014, the third woman in its 500-year history to be elected to the position. Dacre wanted to pursue a career in medicine from the age of 12, something she has wholeheartedly accomplished. She is particularly noteworthy for her work on the ‘future hospital’, which requests a new relationship between healthcare communities and hospitals.
