Wedding Cake Quantities
The size of the wedding cake usually depends on when it is being served. For example, is it pudding for everybody or a snack later on? The couple should think about whether they want any leftovers, but remember it is likely that not everybody will have a slice.
Here are some rough guidelines:
Square Cakes
8 inches = 50-60 servings
10 inches = 80-95 servings
12 inches = 120-140 servings
Round Cakes
8 inches = 30-40 servings
10 inches = 60-70 servings
12 inches = 90-110 servings
