November Handicap

07.11.15
Doncaster Racecourse, Doncaster

The November Handicap is the last day of the British Flat racing season. It was first run at Manchester Racecourse in 1876, and transferred to Doncaster in 1964. In 2014 Doncaster racecourse celebrated the race’s 50th anniversary.

After the race the  flat season is rounded off with presentations to the Champion Trainer, Champion Owner, Champion Jockey and Champion Apprentice, sponsored by the Jockeys Association of Great Britain.

There are also owners and trainers trophies, which are provided by the British Horseracing Authority.

Highlights of each presentation are shown on the big screen and other screens around the course. Once the prizes have been handed out the party begins, with live music and celebrations to mark the end of the season.
