Tim Farron, MP

Known by some as the leader-in-waiting of the Lib Dem party, assuming that May 2015 marks the end of Nick Clegg’s reign, Farron is better placed than anyone to attempt to revive the party with new leadership. Having gained support during the coalition’s tenure from those Lib Dem supporters threatened by their party’s potential alignment with the more right-wing Conservatives, Farron’s support base has increased and he is likely to play an influential position in the 2015 election result.
