Jonathan Day, CBE

Chairman, Joint Intelligence Committee

With the responsibility for imparting intelligence to the top policy makers, Jonathan Day has a critical role to play as the chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee and the head of the Joint Intelligence Organisation at the Cabinet Office. The chairman of the cross-government body was second permanent secretary at the Ministry of Defence prior to his appointment, and trained as a solicitor before joining the civil service in 1979.
