Bramham Horse Trials

11.06.15 - 14.06.15
near Wetherby, Yorkshire

An event that combines the equestrian and the social, this four-day festival in Yorkshire attracts around 45,000 visitors a year.

The Bramham horse trials have been hosted by Bramham Park, the home of the Lane Fox family, since 1974. Bramham Park is a striking country house, situated on the A1, just 5 miles south of Wetherby, and 15 miles from York. It was built in the manner of a 16th-century Florentine villa in the late 17th century. The grounds, laid out at the same time, are one of the very few original survivals from this period of English garden design.

Events include dressage, hunter shows, show jumping, team jumping and pony club mounted games. There is also a thriving retail village, children's entertainments and a popular parade of the Badsworth and Bramham Moor Hunt foxhounds.
