As well-known for her design work as for her entrepreneurial achievements, Kelly Hoppen has found commercial success with www.kellyhoppen.com, which she launched in 2014. Apart from her own successes, as a dragon on BBC2’s Dragon’s Den Hoppen also holds a prominent position in influencing future entrepreneurs. She caught the design bug as a teenager when she redesigned a family friend’s kitchen, and since then, despite struggling with dyslexia, has gone from teenage entrepreneur to interior design mogul. Dedicated to making her design ethos available to all, Hoppen has designed interiors for everything from hotels and homes to yachts and private jets and was named Woman of the Year at the 2014 Women of the Future Awards. On top of that she has authored eight books, works with UK Trade and Investment and is an ambassador for several enterprise initiatives including the Prince’s Trust.
