As Engineering Director at Jaguar Land Rover for over 15 years, Bob Joyce has led the company through a significant period of change. After graduating with an Engineering degree from the University of Leicester, he began a career working in petrol and diesel engine technology in the UK and US. Soon he held positions including Chief Engineer of Rover’s K-Series and Body Engineering Director of the Rover Group. Since taking the reins at Jaguar Land Rover in 2003, his commitment to carving out the best path for premium British cars has led to an engineering-led renaissance at the company, resulting in the production of a range of quality new models including the Range Rover Sport, Freelander and Jaguar XJ, and some serious profits to boot.
