Longines International Horse Show

28.07.15 - 02.08.15
Hickstead Show Ground, West Sussex

One of the oldest horse shows in the world, which celebrated its centenary in 2008, the Longines Royal International Horse Show combines the excitement and spectacle of the best classes of horses and pony with the glamour and elegance of a summer fair.

A huge range of equine breeding is on show, from hunters to hacks, cobs and ponies. The most prestigious events are The Old Lodge Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Saturday) and the Longines King George V Gold Cup (Sunday).

The Queen Elizabeth II Cup is open to the top 20 riders on the British Show Jumping Association's international trials points list.

The King George V Cup is the highlight of the Show. It is one of the most prestigious titles in show jumping, and is now unisex (previously only men were allowed to compete).
