Labour’s shadow minister without portfolio, Baron Wood of Anfield is Ed Miliband’s closest political adviser. A member of the Co-operative Party, he was involved in Ed Miliband’s leadership campaign in 2010 and later worked with the Policy Network in developing the idea of ‘pre-distribution’ as a cornerstone of Labour policy, in an attempt to tackle what Miliband cites as ‘the growing crisis in living standards.’
