A current deputy head teacher at one of North London’s inner city schools, Ross McGill is an award-winning teacher and writer of Teacher Toolkit, consistently voted the number one most popular educational blog in the UK, and one of the most influential in the world. Having left school aged 16 with just three formal qualifications, McGill has gone on to achieve remarkable success in the education sector, not only with his blogging but through his book publications, talks and everyday work as a teacher. He has been teaching since the age of 18 and has gone on to gain a BAEd in Design Technology from Goldsmiths College and a Master’s degree from Central St Martins. Today he is the most followed teacher on Twitter in the UK, and has a huge national profile as an educational reformer.
