Janine Gibson

Janine Gibson has been at the helm of theguardian.com since the summer of 2014, as well as deputy editor of Guardian News and Media. Previously she held the equally prestigious role of editor-in-chief of Guardian USA based in New York, where she oversaw the paper’s ward-winning Edward Snowden revelations. After graduating, Gibson dived straight into the world of media, in media trade press, becoming deputy editor of Televisiual in 1995 and later international editor of Broadcast magazine until 1998 when she joined the Guardian.
