Nils Leonard

Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Grey London

Nils Leonard is the chief creative officer of Grey London, and has overseen the agency’s creative output through seven of its most successful and awarded years. In 2014, his commitment to creativity and innovation, talent and culture culminated in Grey being named D&AD’s most awarded UK agency, IPA Effectiveness Agency of the Year, Campaign’s Network of the Year and Direct Agency of the Year at the BIG Awards. Since 2007 when Leonard joined Grey, his contributions to the likes of the hit advert ‘Louder’ for Lucozade, the globally-recognised ‘Spacechair’ for Toshiba and the much-loved McVitie’s Sweeet campaign have helped to transform Grey into one of Europe’s most in-demand agencies. When he was promoted to chairman, he became one of the youngest agency chairmen in the world.
