Chief Executive, Lidl
UK boss of privately-owned supermarket Lidl, Ronny Gottschlich continues to steal market share from the Big Four grocers. Low price extras and discount basics allow Lidl to appeal to the UK market of shoppers, and the supermarket is set on expanding and promoting its image going forward. Born near Leipzig, Germany, Gottschlich received a business degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Merseburg and joined the company in 2010.
