Monica Grady

Scientist

The natural and overjoyed excitement of leading scientist Monica Grady at the landing of the Rosetta comet in 2014 has been captured, shared and ‘liked’ the country over. Robotic space probe Rosetta performed its first soft landing on a comet in November last year and returned data from the surface. The ground-breaking project ultimately aims to help answer where life on earth comes from and the Open University professor has been involved from early on.
