September 2015Henley Literary Festival
For five days in early autumn Britain's leading literary lights gather in this pretty riverside town for 100 literary events. Venues range from the Town Hall and Kenton theatre to the Phyllis Court Club and River and Rowing Museum.
The array of speakers are drawn from the field of politics and current affairs, fiction, biography, history, lifestyle, sport and poetry and children's literature.
In previous years Irvine Welsh, Kate Adie, Peter Snow, Giles Coren and Roy Hattersley, as well as many other distinguished authors and journalists have appeared at the festival.
