Ian King

CEO, BAE Systems

As CEO of BAE Systems, Ian King leads the UK’s biggest defence company. From nuclear submarines and armoured fighting vehicles to mine countermeasure vessels and combat aircraft, BAE Systems is responsible for an extensive proportion of the UK’s defence technology across the globe. King began his career as a graduate at Marconi in 1976 and became the first chief executive of Alenia Marconi Systems in 1998. Ten years later, King was appointed CEO of BAE Systems.
