Michael Dobson

Chief Executive, Schroders

Michael Dobson has been chief executive of British asset management company Schroders since the distant days of 2001, after joining the board as a non-executive director earlier that year. Between 1973 and 2000 he worked at Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Bank, serving as chief executive of both firms, and was a member of the board of managing directors of Deutsche Bank AG from 1996 to 2000. Dobson currently serves as chairman of the investment board for the endowment fund at the University of Cambridge, from where he received a postgraduate degree.
