Jon Snow

Journalist and Presenter, ITN

Probably most recognisable as the presenter of Channel 4 News, Jon Snow has been with ITN since 1976. During his career he has been posted all over the world, covering historic events from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the release of Nelson Mandela. Snow began his career working with homeless people in London before becoming a journalist. He was appointed ITN’s Washington correspondent in 1983 before becoming diplomatic editor and later presenter of Channel 4 News in 1989. He has worked in radio and presented numerous documentaries, and today is still reporting from the front line of battles around the world, and from Gaza only last year. Snow has won numerous awards for his journalistic work including Journalist of the Year and Presenter of the Year.
