Pin the Tail on the Donkey

On a large piece of card draw or paint a picture of the back of a donkey (or other creature of your choice) without its tail and mark the place where its tail should be with a large X. Cut out and paint a separate tail that will be 'pinned on' using blue tac. Each child is blindfolded in turn and lead to the donkey where they have to 'pin' on the tail. (With older children you may spin them round 3 times first to make it more challenging).

After all children have had a go, the child who has put their tail closest to the X is declared the winner. Either make different tails for each child or mark the spot with their name.
