Galliano may have disappeared from the runway with his fall from fashion grace four years ago, but the last few months have marked a remarkable comeback for the controversial figure. Since his appointment as creative director of Belgian brand Martin Margiela was announced in October 2014, members of the fashion world have joined forces and rallied round the designer, with figures from Kate Moss to Christopher Bailey attending his revival show. Whilst some individuals will not be prepared to welcome Galliano back to the floor with well-styled open arms, as one of the most imaginative designers of the times, his talent is one thing that cannot be criticised. More will come from Galliano – his comeback has barely begun.
