"Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff has joined the cast of Syfy's third "Sharknado" film, playing the father of Ian Ziering's character Fin. The new film sees the terrifying event causing mass destruction in Washington, D.C., before roaring down the Eastern Seaboard and into Florida.
Ziering and Tara Reid return for the next outing alongside Cassie Scerbo, Bo Derek, Ryan Newman, Jack Griffo. Guest stars include Mark Cuban as the President of the United States, Ann Coulter as the Vice President, Jerry Springer as a manic tourist, Nsync singer Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard, and WWE star Chris Jericho as a roller coaster ride operator. Kate Mara has signed on to star in the sci-fi thriller "Morgan," the directorial debut of filmmaker Ridley Scott's son Luke. Anya Taylor-Joy ("The Witch") is in final negotiations to co-star. Seth Owens penned the Black List screenplay and Ridley Scott will produce. »
