Pink Gal Foundation was founded by 16 year old Michelle Kariuki daughter to the multimillionaire Joe Kariuki who is UK based and currently in Form 6 studying Psychology/Health and Social Care. She is interested in helping out vulnerable females because she believes teenagers receive a lot of pressure to look a certain way and act a certain way. However, she would like females to know that they are beautiful inside and out. Teenage girls find it hard to speak out to their carers, so she came up with the 'universal girl talk' which is a mingle section inside Pink Gal Foundation so that they are able to speak out their thoughts without feeling uncomfortable. She would like to be a blessing in someone's life, help the less unfortunate because she have it in mind that we all deserve a good life.

Michelle didn't manage to travel for the occasion so his dad took control of everything and it was perfect.

A total of 70 kids from three different orphanages managed to attend the event.
Guests present were;

  • King of rap Collo
  • Socialite Risper Faith
  • (Samburu rappers-Zizza Siampa and Demalee Dantez.)

Pink Gal Foundation believes that girls can excel and reach their potential as women leaders if their rights, empowerment and education are fully supported and promoted.

  • Pink Gal Foundation mobilizes financial and human resources and channels them directly to girls who are economically deprived, at risk of harmful cultural practices and in countries of instability.
  • Pink Gal Foundation envisions girls are empowered and retained in school to attain quality education with support of whole communities. Quality education in a violent free, supportive and conducive environment in the home, school and community builds their career aspirations leading them to walk in the fullness of their potential as women leaders.

' Hence their Slogan; Because God says you're worth it!.
