The Common Law Admission Test results were declared on Tuesday with Aakash Jain of Madhya Pradesh topping the all-India entrance examination for entry to 16 national law universities.
The examination is held for admissions to under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LLB and LLM). Jain secured 141.25 marks in the test.

Neha Ludha (all-India rank 9) of Rajasthan has topped the female category with 128.5 marks.
Anant Khanna of Lucknow (all-India rank 6) has topped in Uttar Pradesh in the undergraduate course. "It was a dream come true. I'm just delighted. I was expecting good marks but never thought I would top in the state."
Khanna secured 94% marks in the ISC examination, the results for which were declared on Tujesday.
In the postgraduate category, Ankit Raj Singh of UP topped in the country with a score of 123.25.
Announcing the CLAT results on Tuesday evening, Gurdeep Singh, vice-chancellor of the Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University - the institute that conducted the exam - said: "Among top the 2,000 candidates selected for the undergraduate course, 1,181 are men and 819 are female. There are 2,204 UG seats and 514 PG seats in 16 National Law Universities."
The top ranker among the scheduled caste candidates has secured 108 marks, scheduled tribe 123 marks and OBC 115.5 marks.
The selected candidates can opt for the universities of their choice with their rank by May 21. The authorities will process the applications and will put out the first list on May 31.
There was a steep jump in the number of candidates appearing in the CLAT exam this year as compared to the last year. In 2014, 29,268 had appeared for the UG course and 2,024 had appeared for PG course.
