Harry Potter's Neville Longbottom drops his clothes, shocks JK Rowling

Neville Longbottom aka Matthew Lewis, then and now

Remember the dorky Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter? The shy and courageous kid is all grown up and neither we nor JK Rowling can get over it.

For a recent photoshoot for Attitude magazine, Matthew Lewis dropped his 'sweet' image from the series, and most of his clothes.

The risque photoshoot caught the author's eye and, well, she was not amused.

In a tweet to the up and coming young actor, Rowling wrote, "Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake."

While Rowling didn’t create the films, she was heavily involved in the process and became close with the cast comprising mostly child actors.

An embarassed Lewis tweeted back, "Well this is awkward. Sorry, Jo."

In true mommy style, she replied, "I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on."

Jason Isaacs, the actor who played Lucuis Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, entered the discussion with the tweet, "Surely Neville Pertbottom now?" Rowling replied with a propah, "I wouldn't know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock."
