Taking time out of her hectic filming schedule, Kaif's first appearance at Cannes is not one without drama. The gowns that she chose are being held up at French customs - so the search for the perfect outfit starts all over again. However, this hasn't dampened her spirit, Kaif said that she will be hitting the red carpet armed with her best accessory - her confidence: "For this year I think it's important that I'm probably trying to stick to what is the essence of me, what maybe I feel comfortable with, as an actor. Something that goes with my personality, rather than trying to make too much of a statement," she said.
