Has mirrorless turned the corner?

DPR's latest news cites a glowing Sony report; but more to the point, the CIPA data for the past 12 months (April to April) shows a decline in DSLR sales in the Americas (North and South) and a significant growth in mirrorless.

While this hardly puts mirrorless into a majority position at this time; it might signal a change in buyer preferences and a general market trend for interchangeable lens cameras.

I have no data; but I'd also be most interested in what's happening in the premium fixed lens market.  Cameras like the FZ1000, RX10, LX100, X30, X-100's, and so on.  Of course, they are also mirrorless cameras; they just don't have interchangeable lenses.  But they do offer most of the other features of mirrorless cameras.
