According to the sources, Airtel is planning to launch their 4G services in Delhi, though this is only a trial run and can be categorized in beta phase. Airtel 4G is already available in many cities like Chandigarh, Amritsar, Mohali, Nagpur and more, which makes up to a total of 27 cities overall in India. Soon Delhi will also be added in this.

During this trial run, the interested customers can upgrade their normal SIM to 4G enabled SIM if they already own a 4G enabled device. This will grant them access to use the 4G network during this beta phase. Please note that the 4G services will only be available at few places in Delhi at this point, and only after the expiration of trial run, full fledged 4G service to all the customers will be made available.

Currently the prices of Airtel 4G tariff are almost the same as of 3G internet plans. The delay caused by Department of Telecom (DoT) has now been fully resolved and Airtel has got the permission to start their 4G services in Delhi.

Walk into any Airtel store and ask for your Airtel 4G SIM or SMS 4G to 53636 and the Airtel executives will reach out to you. You can also call Airtel at 18001030405 to schedule a visit from them.

Earlier, Airtel has withdrawn all the discounts and offers that are available on 2G and 3G packs on their website, and now they are at par with the prices of the retailers.
