Team PNG

At the Port Moresby 2015 Pacific Games, Team PNG will have more than 600 athletes – men and women – with outstanding talents, competing across all 28 disciplines. Will the 2015 Games see the glory of 1991 again? Will history repeat itself?

Since 1991, every game has seen PNG athletes excel their previous Games performance. By 2011 games PNG had steadily increased its medals tally in Games hosted overseas, from 76 medals in the 2003 Pacific Games Fiji to a 120 in 2011 New Caledonia. Now since the Games are coming back to PNG after 24 years Team PNG is expected to perform their best ever.
