Peter Stewart – CEO

Mr. Peter Stewart has been CEO for three previous International Multi Sport Games, the Australasian Public Sector Games in 1998 and 2000 and the 2009 Australian Paralympics Youth Games. He was also a Venue Manager at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and led the planning for Games Services for four years at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. In 2005 Peter was asked to establish the Events Melbourne Branch of the City of Melbourne in response to the enormous role the Council was being expected to play in supporting Victoria’s major events strategy including the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. In this role he oversaw in excess of 1500 events annually and managed some of the biggest open space venues in Australia. In 2009 Peter accepted the challenge of heading up the Games Services division of the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. In this challenging environment, he was responsible for implementing a number of innovative initiatives designed to fast track the delivery of the Games.

Ken Siminji – Executive Manager, Marketing & Communications

With expertise in marketing and brand management, and a broad industry experience in international business, government and handling community and stakeholder expectations , Ken Siminji leads the Marketing, Communication and Branding efforts of the Pacific Games 2015.

Over the years Ken has worked with Austrade, Brian Bell Group of Companies and British American Tobacco. Ken studied in Queensland, Australia and has numerous professional affiliations. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and Associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute. He was one of the successful candidates for the Emerging Pacific Leaders Dialogue Program in 2010. He won the Earthwatch Employee Fellowship Award in 2002 and joined a team of international volunteers for two weeks on a Biodiversity project in Cameroon West Africa.

As part of community service Ken and his wife Hannah are devoted to providing leadership support to PNG Christian Community Services – a Community organisation based in Gerehu that provides shelter and elementary education to kids from the surrounding communities of Port Moresby who are orphaned either by HIV/Aids or simply have no hope of finding a structured family or home environment. Hannah assists with Home Schooling Program that prepares kids for Primary School. Ken is also a member of the Men of League Foundation in Queensland with interest for PNG as well.

As Manager of Marketing for the 2015 Pacific Games, Ken is responsible for overall Marketing and Communications of the 2015 Pacific Games which includes delivering the communication strategy, public relations, branding, advertising and promotions, sponsorship management, stakeholder management, community engagements and particularly working with Publicity Committee to deliver the correct and targeted messages about the games, the Host City and generally Papua New Guinea.

Clint Flood – Executive Manager, Games Operations

Clint Flood has been involved with the management of special events for over 25 years. He has extensive hands on and managerial expertise in the areas of budgeting, scheduling, financial controls, contracting, procurement, materials management, operations management and event delivery.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Calgary in 1981. He worked for several years with Fluor Daniel, one of the largest Engineering contractors in the world, providing cost control, materials management, and project management on pulp mills, petrochemical and industrial projects. Since 1986 he has specialized in providing operations planning and project management expertise to special events.

He has worked in senior roles with several Olympic, Commonwealth and Pan Am Games, as well as numerous World Championships and many local and regional events. These roles have included financial, operational, sport delivery and technical operations.

As Manager of Games Operations for the 2015 Pacific Games, he will lead the delivery of the Games in areas of Venue Overlay/Operations, Village, Technology, Broadcast, Operations, Sport and Workforce Integration.

Brenda Perreaux – Executive Manager, Commercial Services

Brenda Perreaux has been involved with major international events since 1997.

She has a range of games experience from leading finance operations, directing volunteer programs, managing accreditation, coordinating materials planning to the management of Games villages. In addition to the special event roles she worked in the sport administration with a major national sports federation and the Province of Manitoba sport association.

She has held various responsibilities across the range of services noted above on the following events: 1999 Pan Am Games, 2000 Sydney Olympics, 2001 World Track and Field Championships, 2002 Commonwealth Games, 2003 World Weightlifting Championships, 2003/07/11 Western Canada

Summer Games, 2008 North American Indigenous Games, 2009 World Special Olympics. She has provided accreditation and volunteer management services as a contractor for a service company to over two dozen other events around the World. As Commercial Services manager for the 2015 Pacific Games, she will lead the HR, Finance, Administration, Risk, and Legal services.
