Andrew Potter is the General Manager of Steamships Properties. Steamships Trading Limited is one of the largest non-mining companies in Papua New Guinea, currently employing some 2,250 Papua New Guineans and 50 expatriates within the group. This places Steamships among the country’s largest private-sector employers. The Property Division holds key commercial, industrial and residential properties, together with a land bank of property for development, making Steamships one of the largest private landlords. 

Mel Donald – Deputy Chair

Ms. Mel Donald has over 25 years experience in the PNG service industry specialising in logistics, operations, facilities management, community relations and business development for client companies in the property development, mining and maritime industry. She is the Managing Director of Montgomery Limited, a consultancy company specialising in business development, personnel training, marketing and market research. Mel serves as the Senior Vice President of the PNG Sports Federation & Olympic Committee since 2004. She was the Chairperson of the successful PNG 2015 Pacific Games Bid, President of the Shooting Association of Papua New Guinea since 1998, Vice President of Oceania Shooting Federation since 1999, Executive Committee Member of the Asia Pacific and Oceania Sports Assembly and served as a Member of the Pacific Games Council Executive Board 2010‐2012. 

Paul Standgroom – CEO

Has over 40 years’ experience in the Civil and Building Industry from small to large scale contracts. Paul has been Contracts Director of several South African construction companies’ and has mostly worked in South Africa and neighboring countries. His expertise lies in procurement, coordination and planning, followed by a hands on attitude. 

Keith Fletcher – Board Member

Mr. Keith Fletcher has over 40 years experience in the building industry. Keith is a senior member of the Fletcher Construction Management Team and has been employed by the company for the last forty-six years. His expertise lies in the area of management of business units, but he has a good practical knowledge of the building process, having done an apprenticeship in carpentry, followed by extensive financial and contract administration experience. He has also traveled widely having worked in various Pacific Islands for forty years. He is the General Manager and Director of Fletcher Morobe Construction (PNG) Limited for the past 10 years. 

Rennie Wekina – Board Member

Rennie Wekina is Property Manager of Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited. Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited is recognized as one of Papua New Guinea’s most progressive institutions. The Company specializes in providing a wide range of financial products and services and owns and manages a portfolio of prime real estate assets across Papua New Guinea. The Credit Corporation Group operates offices in Port Moresby, Kokopo and Lae in Papua New Guinea, in Suva, Nadi and Lautoka in Fiji, in Honiara in the Solomon Islands and in Port Vila in Vanuatu. 

Greg Rudani – Board Member

Mr. Greg Rudani is an Architect by profession and is the Managing Director of Peddle Thorp Architects PNG Limited. Peddle Thorp Architects was established in Queensland in 1963 and have been associated with the PNG building industry for over twenty years, operating practices in Brisbane, Cairns, Jakarta, Gold Coast and Shanghai and has associate offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Port Moresby, Auckland, Wellington, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore , Hong Kong , and Ho Chi Minh City.

Ken Harvey – Board Member

Mr. Ken Harvey MBE is the CEO of Remington Technology. He is the Managing Director of the LBJ Group of Companies. He has extensive International background in the IT/ Business Equipment in both wholesale and retail roles and wide experience in Marketing and Sales roles spanning over 30 years. He served on the Board of the PNG Sports Trust and is a Committee Member of the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

Michael Henao – Board Member

Michael Henao

Mr. Michael Henao is a Lawyer by profession and works at Bank South Pacific as their Legal Officer. He represented PNG at various international outrigger canoeing championships including Pacific Games. He was a founding member of the Konedobu Kanu Klab and served as President of the PNG Canoeing Association since 2010. He served in the PNG Athletes Commission in 2009. 

Moses Koiri – Board Member

Moses Koiri is a lawyer by profession and was a member of the Autonomous Bougainville Government cabinet in charge of works, transport and civil aviation, lands, physical planning, growth centers, housing, energy and telecommunications and information technology for the provincial government. 

Kila Dick – Board Member

Kila Dick

Kila Dick is the NCDC Manager – Social Services. He is the Host City NCDC Representative to VIEC. He served as a Member of the Organising Committee for the 2010 PNG Games. He was the NCDC Representative for the PNG 2015 Pacific Games Bid Committee. 

Kaluwin Potuan – Board Member

Mr. Kaluwin Potuan is a Land Specialist by profession and served in the National Physical Planning Board. He is the Managing Director of Professional Valuers of PNG Limited. He is currently the Vice – President of the Oceania Hockey Federation and is the President of PNG Hockey Federation. 

Graham Osborne – Board Member

Graham Osborne

Mr. Graham Osborne is the Chairman, PNG Sports Foundation and is the organisation’s representative to VIEC. Graham Osborne held the position of PNG Rugby Football Union as President from 2005 to 2008. He was instrumental in the improvement of the development program of junior and senior rugby across the country. He was a Member of the PNG 2015 Pacific Games Bid Committee. He is the Restaurateur of the famous Beachside Brassiere in Port Moresby. 

Simon Vai – Board Member

Simon Vai

Simon Vai is the Deputy NCDC City Manager – Engineering Services and is the Host City NCDC Representative. Simon’s qualification includes a Master of Engineering Technology, Major in Civil Infrastructure Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland in 2007. He is also a Member of Institute of Engineers in PNG and Australia.
