This section comprises educational materials for schools. They have been prepared by experts in the history of Polish Jews and by experienced educators from the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

Lesson plans have been created with the view of enriching school classes with lessons on the history and culture of Polish Jews. We encourage you to implement the lesson plans during history, civics, Polish classes and a form period.

In addition to the lesson plans, we have also compiled multimedia presentations, abounding in interesting materials, photographs and descriptions.

Submitting students’ projects is the idea of Virtual Shtetl to carry out various activities by method project. The projects are to inspire teachers, form teachers and educators who wish to carry out, together with pupils, their own activities with regard to Jewish heritage, including junior high school projects. The projects make it possible to teach the history and heritage of Jews, engaging pupils in teamwork.

All projects that you have proposed have been completed in various schools in all of Poland. Thanks to the reports of completed projects you will be able to realize that the projects work extremely well in practice and may spur others to start their own initiatives.

We also encourage teachers to send us their own ideas and reports of completed classes.
