The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in its commitment to the Ministerial Declaration to "Get Every One in the Picture" in Asia and the Pacific as agreed in Bangkok, Thailand in November 2014 and, in line with Proclamation No. 1106 signed by H.E. President Benigno S. Aquino III on August 20, 2015 which declared the years 2015 to 2024 as Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Decade (CRVS), is pleased to announce its nationwide conduct of the CRVS Jingle Writing Contest.

The Jingle Writing Contest aims to create awareness about the CRVS Decade and to highlight the importance of civil registration and vital statistics to each and every Filipino. The winning entry will be used by the PSA in all its CRVS advocacy and related activities.

All PSA offices nationwide are enjoined to participate in the CRVS Decade Jingle Writing Contest. There will be provincial and regional eleminations prior to the National Finals. The PSA-Central Office will likewise conduct its elimination round to determine its entry for the National Finals.

All entries that will qualify in the Regional Eliminations and in the National Finals will be given a Certificate of Participation. Modest amount of cash prizes await the winners at the provincial and regional levels, and the National Finals.

Kindly reproduce, post and disseminate said mechanics by all means and encourage other agencies and instrumentalities of the National Government and Local Government Units, including government-owned or controlled corporations, the private sector, development partners and the general public to participate.
