National Inventors Hall of Fame Schools

Leading the next generation in the spirit of invention.

The National Inventors Hall of Fame is proud to partner with Akron Public Schools, the City of Akron, The University of Akron, the Greater Akron Chamber and Akron Tomorrow on the National Inventors Hall of Fame Schools. These schools have a vision to provide a high-quality education experience for learners that ensures creativity and inventive thinking through a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

National Inventors Hall of Fame STEM Middle School (grades 5-8)

Careers of the future will require individuals who can think critically, collaborate, solve problems and offer creativity and innovation. The NIHF Middle School provides learners with foundational skills that will serve them for a lifetime. The School’s innovative problem-based learning curricula are designed to allow learners to work collaboratively — with each other, Inductees and others in the community who generously donate their time. The National Inventors Hall of Fame STEM Middle School encourages each learner to apply his or her talents and strengths and face challenges with creativity and confidence.

National Inventors Hall of Fame STEM High School (grades 9-12)

Many NIHF Middle School learners choose to further pursue their interests by continuing their education at the National Inventors Hall of Fame STEM High School. We recognize that the future of our nation’s welfare and economy requires highly skilled men and women with a strong background in scientific and technological concepts. The NIHF High School thoroughly prepares learners for success in STEM-related career fields, working with Inductees and industry partners in the field to gain real-world experiences.
