Beautiful cathedrale with good acoustics. If you have the change to hear a choir, just go For it. The sounds is beautiful and the church has lovely colorfull windows. A good combination of more traditional and modern architecture.

For the first time, we attended a service at The Washington National Cathedral. It is so much better than just walking around. Fantastic acoustics and th message came alive.

The interior of the Cathedral is truly impressive. Its central arcade is reminiscent of Westminster Abbey. Attend Mass if you have the opportunity. All are welcome to celebrate. Be sure to explore the Catherdral. It houses many treasures, including a moon rock, Darth Vader's head and the remains of President Woodrow Wilson.

This is one place you need to reserve time for. Breathtaking stained glass windows. Probably the most I have ever seen in one place. Did a tour with the guide. She was very informative and interesting. So many facts and stories about the Cathedral. Then you are on your own to explore on your own. This was worth the trip... More

A visit to the Washington National Cathedral should be included in any visit to Washington, D.C. It is easily accessible by Metro, so there is no need to drive out to it. Despite the scaffolding covering the towers where repair work continues to proceed to repair earthquake damage, the awesome size and architecture as you walk up to enter the... More

The cathedral has many beautiful places. Some are not as obvious as others. Of course, we all admire the stained glass and the stonework. The out of the way areas are somewhat more of a surprise and interesting. Be sure to visit the gift shop, which is in the basement. There is a crypt down there, which reminds you that... More

Lovely to look around, lots to see a few steps Togo down to get to the bottom floor but worth the look, not on a metro line and a bit hilly to get to from the red line.plenty of places to get food and watered in George town. Cost about 11$ but was worth it.you can get some brilliant pictures... More

Our group came for a service with a guest speaker. It was such a memorable day. The volunteer greeters are delightful and the church is just amazing. Be sure to go see the childrens chapel in the back.
