This week on The Lobby, we show off the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, play some Dark Souls 2 on the PC, an early look at FIFA World Cup 2014, go over the week's gaming news, and give away some sweet schwag!
Ok. talking about FIFA, I'm from Guatemala, so I do play a lot of actuall Football and FIFA is the game I play the most, and I enjoy so much the release of the World Cup game because you can actually play with your country, and you get a lot of skill out of getting your team that sucks, like Guatemala that has half a star... (where Germany Spain and others have 4 and a half or five stars, ) to be world champions, and believe me the skill you get out of that is amazing, you then go online and you are close to invincible... hahahaha
But anyway, great to see this game in here, FIFA gets almost no coverage from Gamespot despite being one of the most played games in the world.
I'll admit I'm a little disappointed that the enhanced lighting wasn't included in the PC version. Yet as long as it looks crisp, clear, and runs well on PC, I can't complain. Am just so excited for the PC release.
@kingcrimson24 i would wait to get the first one, its very good, but gfwl will be canceled soon, so you may can't play it online and PVP iis awesome and gives lots of reasons to play the game again and make new char builds.
@eblevins021 It's more story-driven than it gets credit for--it's just that the story is told through minimal dialogue. The driving factors are the amazing diversity in environments, the precise combat, the leveling and customization, and the absorbing atmosphere.

Now my question is this: if you reviewed DS2 on Maximum settings, and it looks the same as the ps3/xbox360 versions: Will the PC version look WORSE than the console counterparts - if put on anything less that Max/Ultra (such as High and Medium)?
Never start with the 3rd and latest game in the series.
Play Demon's Souls, which is perhaps even harder and more punishing than Dark Souls. It looks great and run great, and it still has network support (that might end too soon - so hurry up).
Then Play Dark Souls. See the enhanced graphics and gameplay mechanics, and huge open world game. Then play DS2.
I am telling you, this way you will feel the improvement as you go.

The game got settings like: Med, High, Very High, Ultra aside from the Resolution.
So Kevin said it looks exactly like the console versions (minus the extra res and fps). And he tested the game on MAX SETTINGS.
So I asked: if I put the game on Very High or High for instance: would it look worse than Consoles?!
@GunEye @Kevin-V @xefaros I believe he said if they lowered the resolution down to 1280x720 then it looks just like the console versions.
