Heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua is the current Commonwealth, British and WBC International champion and has been described as the UK’s most promising boxer since the ’90s. After winning gold in the Super Heavyweight category at the 2012 Olympics, Joshua turned professional under promoters Matchroom Sport, making his debut against Italian Emanuelue Leo at the O2 Arena in 2013. Joshua grew up in Nigeria and moved to Watford at the age of 11, excelling at sport at school and running the 100m in 11.6 seconds. To date, he is unbeaten as a professional, and former world champion David Haye has expressed his desire to play against him in 2016.
