Rob Trimble leads the Bromley-by-Bow Centre, the East London community centre founded over 30 years ago and described as ‘one of the most impressive displays of social entrepreneurship anywhere in Europe’. The centre provides local families and individuals with practical support to overcome illness and unhealthy lifestyles, learn new skills and find work. It currently works with over 2000 people each month in one of the most deprived areas in the UK. Trimble has led the centre for 12 years and is a partner in its integrated GP practice, before which he worked in the private setor. He is also a director at Allia, the charity that supports social ventures.
