BERKSHIRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
We raise funds for, and make grants to, local charities and community groups addressing identified need across Berkshire.
We use our local knowledge to connect supporters to the groups and communities they want to help, making sure their donations are effective and bring the greatest benefit to those most in need. Last year we gave over £900,000 to a wide range of local projects, addressing issues such as child poverty, unemployment, social isolation and homelessness.

Berkshire Community Foundation award Three Fund Grants
The Three Community Grassroots Fund has awarded £25,000 worth of grants via BCF, as agreed by the RBWM panel. The fund is for community groups in the Windsor and Maidenhead area that work with young people.

Lieutenancy for Berkshire reception for nominated voluntary groups
The Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire, Mr James Puxley, entertained 24 voluntary organisations from across Berkshire at The Green Park Conference Centre at a Reception to recognise their achievement in being nominated for the Queen’s Awards for Voluntary Service.

A grant of £5,000 from the NHS Carers Fund, managed by BCF, has helped to fund ongoing outings and activities for Young Carers in West Berkshire.
