Jonathan Anderson

Fashion Designer

Jonathan Anderson founded his own label, J W Anderson, in 2008 and was appointed creative director for Spanish luxury house Loewe in 2013. Born in Northern Ireland, Anderson initially started out in acting, but his interest in costume design led him to take a degree at the London College of Fashion. He gained experience as a visual merchandiser at Prada, assisting legendary stylist Manuela Pavesi with projects including window displays at Harrods, before launching his own label. Since then, and via a 2012 sold-out collaboration with Topshop, his rise has been unstoppable. In 2015 Anderson accomplished a fashion world first by winning both Menswear and Womenswear Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.
