As a leading agent at top talent management company CAA, Emma Banks represents acts including Katy Perry, Gossip, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Florence & the Machine. As well as building fan bases and overseeing tours for established artists, she works to identify and develop new talent such as New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde. Banks left her previous firm Helter Skelter to open CAA's London office together with fellow agent Mike Greek in 2006, and took on a roster of artists that included Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand and Alicia Keys. Banks has won Pollstar's International Agent of the Year Award three times, and was named one of the top 50 women in the music industry by Billboard magazine. She volunteers for music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins, chairing its O2 Silver Clef Committee.
